HK Dec 2008

Was sick for a month hence the long absence. Also since Aidan started walking, it's been really difficult finding time to sit in front of the PC. He's everywhere and forever busying himself with something and never give me a moment of rest. Sigh...it's going to be hard keeping a blog going now.

Anyways, here are some long belated pics.

Inside our spanking new Terminal 3.

He slept most of the way there in the bassinet. So lucky for Daddy as he's i/c of him on this leg. I should be so lucky! :(

Ate this yummy dish for breakfast on the second day. Realised that this is the only pic of food we took. I think for the rest, we just couldn't wait for the camera, we were too greedy! As usual, we luuurrve the food in HK!

X'mas decor outside of Times SQ.

In his playpen at our host's apt. So glad we brought this. I don't think we'd be able to make him sleep so easily otherwise. Also, whenever we need, we just dumped him in.

Our baby was asleep and daddy wanted to take a pic with the 3 sheeps (don't ask me why) so we took it w/o him. Inside Harbour City.

Again, taken when baby was asleep. I love to be in winter wear!

At IFC.

Finally let out to walk. One of his few exercise of the day. Poor Aidan.

So happy to be free!

HK is really not a baby friendly place. Look at the high chair in this pretty big chinese restaurant in Times SQ! It's just a normal chair but higher. No belts!

At Lee Gardens. There were very nice X'mas displays

A rare family pic.

A group shot of us and our kind hosts.

This is as near as we got to Disneyland HK. A wall mural in HK station hahaha. This being a shopping and eating trip, no sightseeing planned. We (minus aidan) have been to HK too many times for that. Again, poor Aidan! But seriously, he's too young to enjoy Disneyland.

Bye bye HK. This time, he only slept for a while towards the end. Poor me :(

Overall, food was great and shopping too. HK is truly sales paradise. It was sales GALORE. But not so good for Aidan being confined to his stroller most of the time then his playpen when back in apt. He even lost his precious bear on the 3rd day, couldn't sleep, screamed and shrieked high pitch non-stop for 2hours before he got too tired and slept. We had to google for mothercare shops in HK, rushed down the next day and bought the last 2 bears there. Thank goodness we found it. You know his bear is the most important thing to him when "bear" his first meaningful word like 4 months ago and his only word till now! :( Sigh.
