Life's testimony

A long long time ago, at the dawn of a new era, the era of blogging, I couldn't understand why people would want to blog. Firstly, why would anyone want to write their diary online? Isn't it considered a sin if you secretly peek at someone's diary? So why would you want to make your diary accessible to the whole world? Secondly, why would I want to involve people in the monotony of my life? I had a few friends who had excitedly given me their blog address, making me privy to their daily lives. Frankly, I couldn't get past the first page and I never went back again.

But about a year ago, I started to realise that I won't be blogging for others to read. I don't care if no one reads it. I would be blogging for myself. It's about getting a part of me imprinted on the WWW. It's about leaving a part of me behind, a testament to my existence.
